Event Description

The event is June 3rd in Oklahoma City.  It promises to be as exciting as any previous festivals though shorter this year. 

This year’s festival theme is “Charlie Christian: Playing it Forward.”  Audiences will experience great music that shows the breadth and depth of Charlie’ music and music of others that he influenced such as B.B. King, Carlos Santana, Chuck Berry, George Benson, Wes Montgomery and many, many others. 

The celebrity guests this year for the celebration will be the Dr. Wayne Goins Quartet and Taylor Made Jazz with special jazz dancers of the Metropolitan Dance Company.  

Attire: Sunday Best or Better

Input needed for 2017 Bond Election proposal

Do your part to shape Oklahoma City’s future by identifying priorities for critical infrastructure projects funded by the next bond package. An election is set for Sept. 12.
